Les Trois Malheures s/t
One of our favorite DC bands ever that scoured the scene for a short time with their discordant and energetic post-punk. A band that was breaking at the seams before it even set sail which left a legacy of bombastic shows and songs that stand the test of time today. To make even the most jaded punk lost in the digital ocean to pump his /her virtual fist yet again.

Chronic Heist Fake This Dream
Known for their bombast of Albini-esque drums with slinking guitars and clever lyrics and vocals only like Swedes can do. It's true! For fans of Bryan Ferry, Nick Cave, and the art of the "melodramtic popular song". This is their debut album made in the northern lands and originally released on Tell Me That You Love Me records from Göteborg.

Shelby Cinca Electronic 1: Obelisk

Former Frodus frontman enters the world of 8bit electronica with his debut album. Redemptiondepartment.com has said: "...this music seems like, in my opinion, almost a spiritual manifestation of Shelby himself. The fact that he has for so long been such a sci-fi, data, and technology geek/junkie really gives this work a powerful sense of personability that the casual listener should be informed as to in order to fully appreciate this music."

Frodus Fireflies (Remastered)

Reissue of a rare out of print Frodus album from 1995. Post-highschool post-nerdcore with a tinge of surf guitar and fuzz. Also coincidentally enough this album was originally released by Washington, D.C.-native Damien Kulash of the band OkGo and features the original OkGo bassist, Andy Duncan, on bass and vocals on select tracks.

Frodus Molotov Cocktail Party (Remastered)

Reissue of a rare out of print Frodus cassette-only release from 1994. Highschool nerdcore about sasquatches, aliens, and sci-fi frustration. An underground cultural event for the suburbs of Washington, D.C. Originally selling 1100 copies with virtually no distribution, just DIY spirit of constant live shows and occasional stock in now-legendary independent local record stores. Available now for the first time in archival digital form.

Frodus Brahm Remixes

Electronic musician Brahm remixes 3 tracks from the final Frodus album "And We Washed Our Weapons In The Sea" (released 2001). Originally to appear on a EP and single that was never realized around the same time. A clicky and atmospheric exploration of Frodus' later more matured sound.

Frodus Suspicion Breeds Jason

Rare out-take of Jason Hamacher the drummer of Frodus and little-known vocalist of the defunct "breakfast violence" band, Mancake. Screaming his brains out behind closed-doors. The "b-side" features a rare social engineering (a.k.a. "prank call") to G. Gordon Liddy which to insiders is known as "Lettuce for the people". |

The Outstand s/t 7"
Out Of Print
The Outstand formed as far back as 1993 in Vänersborg, Sweden. Before their formation, all members had played in different punk outfits, but when they got together as The Outstand, they faced a new musical era. Melancholic fuzz/noise rock topped off with charismatic and political lyrics. In the spring of 96, the Outstand released their debut CDep, "white cane". This 7" was released on July 1997. |

Uncle ABC For Fuzzy Little Kids 7"
Out Of Print
The band was formed by members that rised from the ashes of bands like Start Today and Stab. This three piece found structure in spazzcore, quirky, intense weirdo jazz with lots of screaming and powerful rythms with the image of running full-speed into a brick wall for enjoyment. When this 7" was released, Uncle had only been around for a little more than a year, but that didn´t stop this trio from making a big impression on peoples minds. Something new and exciting always happened when they played live. Among all the bands they have played with were; Jenny Piccolo, Samiam, the Locust, Nine, Frodus, Separation and more... The two core members went on to form Division Of Laura Lee. |
